SPRING CLEAN-UP
Beds, Lawn Areas, and Hard Surfaces
We will remove debris from under tree and shrub areas excluding pine and conifer needles that will be left in place. We will clear lawn areas, groundcover beds and hard surface areas of incidental sticks and other winter debris. (This is based on an adequate fall clean-up having been completed. If fall clean-up has not been adequately completed, an additional charge will be billed for the extra work required to remove fall debris.)
Incidental Pruning
We will prune incidental dead or damaged portions of shrubs and trees less than twelve (12) feet in height. All sucker growth will be removed.
Ornamental Grasses and Perennials
We will cut back all ornamental grasses and perennials that may have been left standing through winter.
Edging
We will edge all existing beds to maintain existing bed line using an edging shovel or power bed edger. We will edge wooded lawn perimeters only in areas where mulch is applied.
Weed Control
We will hand pull weeds greater than three (3) inches in height. We will apply pre-emergent weed control to all shrub, groundcover, and perennial beds. Within beds we will spray weeds that are less than three (3) inches in height with herbicide. We may spray fence lines, posts, walls and along foundations with herbicide. Herbicide applications may be weather dependent and therefore postponed to a future visit if conditions are not favorable at the time of our visit.
